Clean Water
The Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa (TMBC) wish to achieve several objectives with the Clean Water 106 Grant. The first and foremost is the establishment of a first rate water quality and water pollution program that will protect the TMBC’s primary source of drinking water for the population of the reservation.

Garden Project
The Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa (TMBC) will provide a community garden that will benefit the elderly by providing fresh produce for the elderly (in the retirement community) and educate the public in garden practices.

319 Program
The Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa (TMBC) has found a need to implement a non-point source program on tribal lands. Since the population base of the reservation is high and the land base is relatively low many non-point pollution sources have been identified within reservation boundaries.
